These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tracker Detector — AirTag Scan application ("the App") published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Tracker Detector is an iOS application that scans for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy advertisements and flags devices matching known tracker fingerprints (Apple AirTag, Tile, Samsung SmartTag, Chipolo, Pebblebee, generic Find My accessories). Scanning runs on your device using Apple’s CoreBluetooth framework. Features include on-demand “Scan Now” sweeps, follow-me detection across locations (Premium), NFC tap-to-read AirTag owner contact, sightings timeline + map (Premium), and PDF evidence export (Premium).

2. Important Limitations — Read This

Tracker Detector is a complementary scanner, not a guaranteed safety service. You understand and agree that:

• iOS withholds some Bluetooth manufacturer data from third-party apps. The App relies on service-UUID matches, Find My continuity-protocol byte signatures, and persistent-RSSI heuristics — the same surface every iOS-side scanner has access to.
• A tracker with reconfigured firmware may broadcast in a way no third-party scanner catches, including this one. Apple’s built-in “Items Found Moving With You” alert remains your other line of defense.
• The App complements, but does not replace, Apple’s built-in tracker alerts, professional sweep services, or assistance from law enforcement and victim-support organisations.
• Distance-from-tracker shown in the App is a relative signal-strength indication, not a precise distance measurement. RSSI cannot reliably be converted to feet or meters.
• Background scanning is throttled by iOS and may not detect a brief drive-by tracker. Manual “Scan Now” remains the most reliable feature.
• NFC-based owner identification works only for AirTag in separated mode and depends on the owner having configured Lost Mode.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the App to harass, stalk, or surveil another person
• Use the App to identify, follow, or interfere with the legitimate use of someone else’s tracker (for example, the registered owner of an AirTag attached to their own keys, bag, or vehicle)
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract any bundled detection data or fingerprint catalog
• Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or free-tier limitations
• Use the App in any manner that violates applicable laws, including stalking, wiretapping, or computer-misuse laws in your jurisdiction

4. Subscriptions & Billing

• Free tier: No charge. 3 manual scans per day with full detection results, 3 saved device labels, NFC tap-to-read AirTag owner, with banner and interstitial advertising.
• Premium Monthly: $4.99/month. Unlimited manual scans, background follow-me monitoring with location-change alerts, sightings timeline + map, unlimited device labels, PDF evidence export, and zero ads.
• Premium Annual: $24.99/year (save 58% vs. monthly), with a 7-day free trial. Same Premium feature set as monthly.
• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple’s Terms of Service.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• If you cancel during the free trial period before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Existing subscribers retain their original price for the remainder of the active term.

5. User Content

Detection records, sightings, device labels, and PDF exports are stored locally on your device. You retain all rights to your detection history. We do not access, collect, or store your detection content on any server.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, tracker fingerprint catalog, and packaged content, is owned by Bulpara Inc and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose. Trademarks of third parties (AirTag, Tile, Samsung SmartTag, Chipolo, Pebblebee, Find My) are property of their respective owners and used for compatibility identification only.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR DETECTION COMPLETENESS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT IT WILL DETECT EVERY TRACKER NEAR YOU. SOME TRACKERS MAY NOT BE DETECTABLE BY ANY THIRD-PARTY iOS SCANNER, INCLUDING THIS ONE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BULPARA INC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Decisions made based on a detection result, including a missed tracker the App did not flag
• False-positive alerts that flag devices the App was not certain about
• Subscription-related charges that fall under Apple’s billing policy
• Any harm resulting from reliance on the App as the sole means of stalking detection

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bulpara Inc from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, including any decisions or actions you take based on detection results.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the business.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
